Apple! Pay Attention! Now just build an Exchange client, Dammit!
I've only had an hour or two to play with iWork '08, so this is definitely an early opinion. I like it a lot! Numbers looks like it is going to work well, and Keynote is awesome. I haven't played much with Pages yet, but I intend to.
I've been using Microsoft Office 2004 for the Mac for nearly two years. I'm tired of waiting for a Universal binary, I remain immensely disappointed in the Exchange integration provided by Entourage, and am annoyed that I've seen no sign of this improving when Office 2008 is finally released. All I need now is a real Exchange integration story from Apple, and I can kiss Microsoft software goodbye completely.
Note that I'm actually paying for an Entourage professional support incident with Microsoft right now (to the tune of $250) to have them tell me why Sync Services won't sync my Entourage/Exchange calendar with iCal (and then to my iPhone). So I'm not one of the folks that gratuitously bashes Microsoft. The Mac BU is really dismal though.
